I paid but Pro isn't showing
Open Settings › TripEase Pro › Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you paid with.
How do I cancel?
Settings › TripEase Pro › Manage subscription takes you to your store. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
What stays free if I cancel?
Entry rules, official links, Land & Sea, advisories and your stamp map stay free. Free keeps 1 passport and 2 trips in any 12 months.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play.
Passport & privacy
Where is my passport stored?
Only on your phone, in its secure storage. There is no server copy.
The scanner won't read my passport
Lay the passport flat in good light, fill the frame with the two lines at the bottom of the photo page, and avoid glare. You can also type the details.
How do I delete everything?
Profile › Delete all details. Deleting the app also removes everything.
Arrival forms
Why doesn't TripEase submit forms?
On purpose. Government forms belong on government sites. TripEase links you to the official site and gives you copy buttons for your details; you submit there yourself.
A site is charging me for an arrival card
Most arrival cards are free on the official site. TripEase only links to official sites. If you paid an unofficial site, contact your bank.
When can I submit Thailand's TDAC?
Within 3 days before you arrive. Your trip checklist shows when it opens.
Land & Sea, plugs, tipping & local apps
What is Land & Sea?
A guide for crossing a border by road, rail or ferry. It lists crossings with opening hours where published, cautions, and links to the official source for each one. It does not tell you that a crossing is open right now: check the official link before you travel. See the Land & Sea page.
Does Land & Sea work offline?
Yes. The crossing data is bundled in the app. Official links open in your browser and need a connection.
Which plug do I need?
Each country page shows the plug types and voltage used there, with a picture of every type. Check them before you pack and carry an adapter. See Plug types.
Should I tip?
The app shows a short tipping note for many countries, taken from official tourism or government sources linked beside it. Customs vary and these notes are a guide, not a rule. See the tipping guide.
What are local apps?
After you land, the app suggests ride, transit and SIM or eSIM apps that locals and visitors use in that country. Some are partner links, labelled Partner. Official visa and arrival links are never partner links. See Local apps.
Trips & wallet
Can I use TripEase offline?
Yes: your saved entry rules, the wallet, emergency numbers and the driver card work without signal.
New phone
Will my trips move to a new phone?
Your trips and stamps move with a manual export file: export them on the old phone and import the file on the new one. A Settings “Move to a new phone” screen is coming in an app update. Your wallet is never backed up or moved, so keep your originals safe, and you’ll need to scan your passport again. Restore purchases brings Pro back.
Is my wallet backed up?
No. Wallet documents are encrypted on your phone, left out of backups and phone transfers, and never uploaded. Keep your originals safe.

No applications are being collected. Sites charging for ETIAS today are not official. TripEase will update the moment the EU announces a start date.
Spotted a mistake?
Report a wrong entry rule
Reporting opens with the app: you'll be able to flag a rule right from the country screen. Please include your passport country, the destination, what's different and, if you have it, the official link. No passport numbers, please. We only need the rule.
