Just landed

The apps people actually use where you land.

Your first hour goes smoother with the right ride app, the local train app and a SIM that works. TripEase lists the ones that operate in your destination, local options first.

What you get

Three things worth having ready on arrival.

  • Ride apps. The taxi and ride-hailing apps that run in that country, plus the tip to use the official taxi rank if you would rather not use an app.
  • Public transport. The national or city rail and transit apps, where we could confirm one.
  • Local SIM and eSIM. Local operators first. An eSIM can be set up on airport Wi-Fi.

Everything is a plain link. No sign-up, no tracking added by TripEase, and nothing is sent about you.

In the app

Just landed: your first hour, in one place.

The Just landed screen has ride apps used in the country, SIM and eSIM guidance, emergency numbers and local phrases. The second screen scrolls: use the scroll bar or arrow keys to see all of it.

Questions

Local apps, answered

Are these affiliate links?

No. The local-app cards are plain links to the operator or app site, with no tracking added. TripEase checks that each app operates in the country before listing it. Any partner pick is always labelled "Partner" and never replaces a local option.

Which countries are covered?

Countries are added in weekly batches, starting with the most visited. If a country has no checked local option for a category, TripEase leaves the slot empty or shows a short tip instead of guessing.

Where do I see them?

Ride apps, SIM and money tips show on the Just landed screen after you tap "I'm landed". Local services also appear on the destination page: Free shows a few, and Pro shows every local service for that country.
